Apple iPad Mini 4

Apple iPad Mini 4 is a tad lighter and thinner than its predecessor. The Apple iPad Mini 4 also sees major changes in terms of the chipset and camera.

The tablet, unlike the iPad Mini 3 is powered by a more powerful dual-core 1.5 GHz Apple A8 processor that ensures smooth sailing. Keeping your multitasking requirements in mind and the split screen multitasking feature the iPad Mini 4 is expected to feature 2GB of DDR3 RAM. Users can store all that they want using 16GB of onboard storage. However, it is advised to use the storage space judiciously as there is no expansion slot to boost the storage.

It boasts the same 7.9-inch LED-backlit IPS LCD display featuring a scratch-resistant glass. The display is bright and looks good in both indoor and outdoor environments. There is a similar fingerprint scanner as seen on the iPad Mini 3 that provides added security for your files and data.

For selfies and video calling Apple has used the same 1.2-megapixel front-facing shooter while the rear camera has been upgraded to 8-megapixel and comes with additional features like panorama, HDR, face detection, autofocus, etc. Users can also record Full HD videos using the primary snapper.

To keep you connected the tablet comes with multiple connectivity options such as 3G, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and a microUSB 2.0 port. Available in grey, gold and silver colour variants, the device is backed up by a non-removable Lithium Polymer cell that can keep the tablet functioning for more than 10 hours with moderate to heavy usage.

The device runs the Apple iOS 9 operating system which brings about new improved features in every segment including search, assistance, etc.
