Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE (2016)

The Zenfone G0 4.5 LTE (2016) is the 2nd generation of the Zenfone Go 4.5 smartphone released in 2015. The 2016 phone features updates to the OS, cameras and battery.

A 4.50-inch FWVGA resolution display fronts the Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE (2016) showing clear content for everyday mobile tasks and games. The phone features Asus’ usual design including an aluminium body, the grey chin, and standard arrangement of the power button on the right edge and volume buttons on the back instead of on the right. The microUSB and 3.5mm audio jack are on the bottom and top. The phone is available in matte finish back in red, and hairline finish backs in silver, gold, blue and silver blue. The phone measures 11.2 mm thick and weighs 135 grams.

The phone features ZenUI 2.0 on top of Marshmallow 6.0 - an update over the previous versions Lollipop 5.1 OS. The phone has a 1.0 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 chipset that bears 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage that can be increased to 128GB by SD cards. Users also get 100GB of Google Drive storage for two years. An Adreno 306 GPU powers games and graphics.

The Zenfone Go 4.5 (2016) features an 8-megapixel primary camera that captures the best images in the presence of ample light. The rear camera records in HD resolution, captures images in low-light conditions, minimise shutter lag, in addition to featuring filters. The secondary camera on the Zenfone Go 4.5 is 2-megapixels that captures the simplest of images. These are updates over the previous version’s 5-megapixel and 0.3-megapixel cameras. A 2,070mAh battery powers the phone for about 12 hours. This is an update over the 1,600mAh removable battery in the first generation of the phone.

The Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE (2016) accommodates dual micro+nano SIM cards that support 4G LTE and 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS and BDS. The phone’s microUSB port is on the bottom edge.
