Coolpad M3

The Coolpad M3 is a low-end smartphone that flaunts a 5.85-inch HD+ screen which comes with an iPhone X-like notch at the top. The screen, with an 18:9 aspect ratio is ideal for those who enjoy watching videos or playing games. However, the screen misses out on Corning's Gorilla Glass protection. On the software front, the smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo. The handset ships with 32GB of internal storage which using a microSD card can be expanded further.

In terms of biometrics, the Coolpad M3 is bundled with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner which is positioned beside the dual camera setup. Also, the Coolpad M3 comes loaded with the AI face unlock feature.

The Coolpad M3 comes with dual 13MP+5MP rear shooters, where the 5MP lens acts as a depth sensing sensor. The front-facing 5MP camera is loaded with features like AI Face recognition and AI beautification

An octa-core MediaTek chipset powers the smartphone along with 4GB of RAM. Although MediaTek is not as powerful as Snapdragon, the Coolpad M3 handles all the basic tasks with ease. However, in respect to other budget handsets, the Coolpad M3 is loaded with an under-powered battery. A 2,800mAh cell keeps the lights on, which, if treated efficiently, should last for an entire day. For connectivity, there are options like 4G with VoLTE support, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, and a microUSB 2.0 port.
