Gionee Pioneer P5 Mini

The Gionee Pioneer P5 Mini is a device which is very similar to the previously launched Pioneer P5L. The budget smartphone comes with basic specifications.

The Gionee Pioneer P5 Mini features a 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive display that supports WVGA resolution with 208ppi pixel density. The device measures 143.5 x 72 x 8.3mm (height x width x thickness) and tips the scale at 147grams.

Also, the handset comes equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor under the hood, coupled with 1GB of RAM. The RAM ensures effortless switching between apps and also enables multitasking. A Mali-400MP2 GPU ships with the processor, that should take care of gaming and graphics within the device. The phone's 8GB of inbuilt storage can be expanded by an additional 128GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.

When it comes to the photography segment, the Gionee Pioneer P5 Mini houses a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash, and video recording option, whereas on the front there's a secondary 2-megapixel selfie camera.

The Pioneer P5 Mini wraps up a non-replaceable Li-Ion 1,850 mAh battery unit promises to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and a standby time of up to 220 hours, while on 3G network.

This is a dual-SIM smartphone that accepts regular SIMs. On the software front, the Gionee Pioneer P5L runs the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. Its connectivity attributes include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0v, GPS/A-GPS, A2DP, and FM Radio. The micro-USB 2.0v port gives you an additional option for external media/file transfer.

The Gionee Pioneer P5 Mini is available in various colour options including Black, Blue, Gold, Red, White, and Yellow.
