Intex Aqua series mostly covers the budget smartphones with some medium range level features. The new Aqua M5 is one yet another affordable smartphone sporting a 5-inch display.
This display has a 854 480 pixel resolution which is good enough for a phone at this price. Dual-SIM support touting Aqua M5 is mere 9.9 mm thick and houses a quad-core 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6582 mobile chipset tagged with 512MB of RAM and only 4GB built-in storage. Thankfully there is a memory card slot to add up to 32GB microSD card.
The dual-SIM configuration can support one Micro SIM and one Mini SIM modules. At the rear is a 8MP camera with LED flash and autofocus to capture good quality images and even record videos. Fancy modes such as Face-beauty, Panorama and motion tracker have been integrated in the camera app. There is a 2MP front facing camera to take selfies and host video calls.
One of the SIM slots sports 3G network capabilities while the other easily runs on the 2G network capable SIM. Quick web browsing can be enjoyed by latching up the phone to the WI-Fi network. Bluetooth pushes files quickly and location based services are monitored with the help of GPS.
Intex has powered this dual-SIM smartphone with mere 2,000 mAh battery capacity to offer at least 5 hours of talk time join 3G networks. Post that, one has to hunt for wall socket chargering points or hook it up with a power bank.
