Intex Aqua Music

The Intex Aqua Music is an entry level smartphone priced at under Rs. 10,000 with good core specs for its price range. The phone earns its name from the powerful dual speakers it sports at the back to play loud music.

The Intex Aqua Music features a comfortably large 5.5-inch IPS display with 720x1280 resolution and 267 PPI pixel density allowing the phone to display quality videos, images and clear text. The large screen gives way to a number of advantages such as enabling users to watch content on a widescreen, plenty of maneuvering space for game controls, and doubling as an e-reader. The IPS display has the advantage of being able to display content with brightness and sharp colors while having a relatively small effect on the battery. The phone measures 150 x 74.19 x 8.5 mm while weighing 159 grams. The phone is available in two colors: grey and silver.

The Aqua Music runs Marshmallow 6.0 on a 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6735 SoC with a quad-core Cortex-A53 processor, and 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM that can multitask, but with minor lags. The chipset also holds a Mali T720 MP2 GPU for games and graphics. Storage space on the phone in limited to 16GB that can be increased to 32GB with an SD card.

The rear camera is 13-megapixels with dual LED flash and and an f/2.2 aperture that takes adequately clear images. The front camera is 5-megapixels that takes adequately clear images under adequate light. The battery on the phone is a 3,400mAh Li-Po battery that lasts less than a day with moderate use.

The dual micro-SIM phone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS for navigation and microUSB 2.0 for data transfer and charging. The phone comes preloaded with support for Indian languages via Matrabhasha, and hosts apps such as Mobikwik, Amazon, Saavn, Opera Mini and others.
