Intex Aqua Y2 Power

Intex Aqua Y2 Power is yet another low-end smartphone from the home-grown manufacturer. The device comes with modest specifications and is expected to compete with the likes of the Lava Iris Fuel 50 and Micromax Canvas Juice 2.

The Aqua Y2 Power has dual SIM slots and runs the Android KitKat 4.4.2 operating system out of the box. Available in blue, black and white colours, the device is 10.5 mm thick and weighs 133 grams.

Supplying power is a 1.2 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor paired with 512MB RAM. Although the device is expected to run smoothly, multitasking is not recommended. The Intex Aqua Y2 Power features a 4-inch WVGA IPS display with 854x480 pixels screen resolution. The display works fine while indoors but suffers quite badly once you are out in bright sunlight.

In the imaging department, the smartphone comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash using which one can record videos and capture images. To help in low-light photography, there is an LED flash present. On the front, there is a 2-megapixel front-facing secondary shooter meant to click selfies. The smartphone has an internal storage capacity of 4GB which can further be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.

The device ships with standard connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0, 3G, GPS Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and a microUSB 2.0 port. The company claims that the device is capable of delivering 20 hours of talk time courtesy a 2900 mAh battery.
