Karbonn Sparkle V

The Karbonn Sparkle V is low-budget device launched as part of Google's Android One initiative that aims at bringing high-quality smartphones to as many people as possible.

The device features a 4.5-inch screen with a resolution of around 480 x 854 pixels and a density of 217 pixels per inch. The design of the device is trendy and it comes in red, grey, white and blue colours. The back panel of the phone sports a 5-megapixel primary camera with LED flash and the front features a 2-megapixel selfie camera to facilitate video calling smoothly.

The Sparkle V features a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3GHz in addition to 1GB of RAM. The handset comes with 4GB internal memory out of which 2GB is available for the user. It can be further expanded using a microUSB card present on-board.

The Sparkle V runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat and provides a clean and fast user experience. The phone comes with support for seven Indian languages out of the box, with the option to dictate voice commands and use popular apps in Hindi. Google has not also guaranteed software updates for Android One handsets for at least two years, users of these devices will be able to enjoy YouTube videos offline as well.
