LG G3 Beat

The South Korean giants unveiled the mid-level G3 Beat which is drop from the company's flagship device G3. But much likely to G3, the G3 Beat comes with 4G LTE bands that promises faster connectivity.

The LG G3 Beat features a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. The company has also dropped the screen resolution from QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) on G3 to HD (1280 x 720 pixels) on G3 Beat. The high definition screen resolution reflects an effective pixel density of 294 PPI. The smartphone runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Cortex-A7 processor with Adreno 305 GPU. The device is clubbed with 1 GB RAM which comes coupled with an internal storage capacity of 8 GB. The internal storage capacity of the smartphone can also be expanded up to a whopping 64 GB using the microSD card slot present on the device. The phone is 10.3 mm thick and weighs about 134 grams. The LG G3 Beat is available in three different colour variants: Silk White, Metallic Black and Shine Gold.

However, the main highlight of the LG G3 Beat is its 8-megapixel rear camera which comes with the Laser autofocus feature seen on the LG G3. The device also has LED flash which has the capability to capture quality images even in low-lighting situations. The rear camera on the device has the ability to record Full HD videos. The G3 Beat also comes with a 1.3-megapixel secondary camera which can be used to click selfies and record videos. Some of the pre-loaded software features on the LG G3 Beat from the flagship device include Touch and Shoot, Gesture Shot, Smart Keyboard and QuickMemo+.

Connectivity options on the LG G3 Beat include GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and microUSB 2.0 port. The USP of the LG G3 Beat is that the smartphone comes with 3G and 4G LTE support. The device also support playback of all the common multimedia file formats which include MP3, MP4, WAV, etc. The smartphone is powered by a Li-Ion 2540 mAh battery which is enough to keep your device functioning throughout the day.
