LG Max

LG Max is a budget smartphone aimed at an audience looking for a 5-inch 3G enabled smartphone. The smartphone is a successor to the LG Bello and is launched in India under the name of LG Max.

The dual-SIM device comes with a powerful 1.3GHz Cortex A7 quad-core processor. The smartphone also packs 1GB of RAM which manages to give the device the capability to deliver robust performance in most daily usage conditions. The device is not aimed to handle intense multitasking sessions and might stutter if there are too many apps running. The smartphone can handle most games with ease, though it might not be able to render the latest games.

The display on the phone comes in the form of a 5-inch TFT screen sporting a FWGA (854x480 pixels). The device doesn t boast a very high PPI but is ample for most daily requirements. The device comes with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box and is available in gold, white and titan colour options.

The smartphone comes with a 5-megapixel front facing camera along with an 8-megapixel primary camera. The smartphone aims to woo the selfie lovers thanks to the features such as Selfie Flash and Gesture shot. The selfie camera can click images in HD resolution while the primary shooter can shoot images in full HD. The two lenses can also record video at the same resolution respectively.

The LG Max features 8GB of on-board storage and has the option to expand further up to 32GB via a microSD card. The 3G enabled smartphone comes with connectivity options such as GPS, a microUSB 2.0 port, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0. Powering the device is a 2540 mAh battery. The battery is rated to keep the device up and running throughout an entire day of use.
