LYF Wind 7i

The Lyf Wind 7i is the latest from Reliance to supports 4G LTE mobile data. The phone features standard core specs and is priced at under Rs. 10,000.

The Wind 7i features a 5.0-inch HD IPS LCD display that is capable of showing brilliant colors. The display is protected by Asahi Dragontail glass that protects the display from extensive physical damage. The phone’s 143.5 x 72 x 8.7 mm dimensions and 156 gram weight makes it easy to handle. The device is available in white, black and blue.

The phone runs Lollipop 5.1 on a Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 chipset with a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM that handles everyday mobile tasks with ease. Demanding tasks might slow the phone down. Graphics on the phone and HD videos are handled by an Adreno 304 GPU. Storage space on the phone is 16GB that can be increased to 128GB with an SD card which should suffice for personal and mandatory mobile data. An interesting feature of the Wind 7i is the video pop-up feature which allows users to watch videos while simultaneously accessing other apps on the phone.

The phone comes with an 8-megapixel primary camera with LED flash and HD video recording and a 5-megapixel secondary camera, both of which capture simple images. Nevertheless, the camera app is equipped with image enhancement techniques to edit images. Features such as 6x digital zoom on both cameras, face detection, smile detection, auto-focus, blink detection, panorama and others help in making the best of the situation. The phone is fuelled by a 2,250mAh Li-ion battery that powers the phone for about 12 hours at best.
