Lava Iris 458q

The Lava Iris 458q is a new handset launched by Lava. The phone has a 4.5-inch capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 480 X 854 pixels. The phone has rounded edges, giving it a curved look. The power button and volume rocker sit on the sides of the phone. The phone has 512 MB of RAM with 1.2GHz quad-core processor. The phone runs on the latest Android v4.2 (Jelly Bean). The phone also features dual-SIM functionality that allows you to use two SIM cards on the same device.

The device features a decent 8-megapixel camera with LED flash. The phone may record HD videos as well. The camera should work well in low light situations as well. There is a VGA front-facing camera on the front for video calling. The Lava Iris 458q smartphone can play most of the audio and video formats such as MP3, AAC, WMA, WAV, MP4, WMV, H.264 and H.263.

The phone can be connected through Wi-Fi and also can be used as a Wi-Fi Hotspot. The phone connects to 3G networks as well. It doesn't support 4G and it also doesn't have NFC connectivity. The device has Bluetooth functionality for data transfer from phone to phone.

A 2000-mAh Li-Ion battery is sufficient to last the mobile a day on a charge. The Iris 458q comes with 4 GB of internal storage and features a microSD card slot which extends storage to 32 GB.
