Lava Iris Alfa

Lava Iris Alfa is a Dual SIM smartphone with a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854p) IPS full lamination display. It measures 141X71.4X9.2mm and weighs 156gram and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. The Iris Alfa has 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

The Iris Alfa runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and Lava has announced that it will also receive support via FOTA (firmware over the air) updates. The phone comes packed with Truecaller premium app along with Rs. 2,000 worth of free downloads on Hungama Music app. It also boasts preloaded apps like Adaptxt keyboard, which supports 11 Indian local languages.

The Iris Alfa sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with single LED flash for low-light photography and a VGA front camera for enabling video-calling and selfies. It also supports full HD 1080p video recording and digital zoom with inbuilt auto-focus.

The connectivity options on the Iris Alfa include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and FM radio. It is backed by a 2200mAh battery, which is touted by Lava, to offer up to 22.7 hours of talk time on 2G connectivity. The device will be available in Black and White colors.
