Lava Iris Atom

Lava Iris Atom is an entry-level, dual-SIM smartphone with a quad-core processor and an appreciable amount of expandable storage space. The phone is part of the Atom series of Lava mobiles and is available in Black and White colours.

The Iris Atom has a 4.0-inch WVGA TFT display with a resolution of 480p and pixel density of 233 PPI sufficient for basic gaming and entertainment support. The phone is 9.7mm thick and 110 grams heavy. It's small and lightweight form is easily handled with one hand and will snugly fit into any storage space. The power and volume keys are on the right, 3.5mm audio jack on top while the microUSB port is on the left.

The Iris Atom runs Android v5.1 Lollipop OS on a 1.3GHz quad-core processor but with 512MB of RAM which gives the phone only limited multitasking abilities. Closing apps to release memory space would speed up the device’s efficiency. The phone has 8GB of storage space with up to 32GB of expandable storage enough to store a lot of pictures or music.

The phone is equipped with a basic 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash for low-light conditions and a 0.3-megapixel VGA front camera. Other features of the camera include touch focus, geo-tagging, panorama view and HD recording. The Iris Atom comes with 1,550mAh removable Li-Po battery that lasts 7-8 hours of moderate usage.

The Iris Atom supports two regular SIM cards, 3G and 2G mobile data, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, a microUSB 2.0 port. Sensors in this phone include an accelerometer.
