Lenovo A7700

The Lenovo A7700 is the company’s latest series of entry-level smartphones priced below Rs. 10,000. The phone comes with standard core specs and 4G LTE support.

The A7700 features a 5.0-inch IPS LCD display that shows clear and sharp content in HD resolution. The display does not falter under direct sunlight and ensures visibility. In terms of dimensions, the A7700 measures 141 x 71 x 8.8 mm while weighing 155 grams. The phone is available in two colors: white and black. It features power and volume buttons on the right edge, while featuring a 3.5mm audio jack on top and the microUSB charging port at the bottom.

The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow on a MediaTek MT6735p SoC that bears a 1.1 GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM that can run everyday mobile tasks with ease. Complex apps on this phone might lag. Storage on the phone is limited to 16GB that can be increased to 32GB with an SD card for personal data. The chipset also comes with a Mali-T720 GPU that handles graphics on the phone.

The front camera on the A7700 is 8-megapixels with dual LED flash and autofocus that takes sufficiently clear images during the day. The primary camera records videos in Full HD at 30 fps. The secondary camera is a basic 2-megapixels that might not be the best for selfies, taking only grainy images, and will definitely need ample light to take clear ones. The phone is powered by a 2,300mAh removable battery that will last less than a day with moderate use.

The phone has dual micro-SIM support that includes a 4G LTE data supported SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port. Sensors on the A7700 include proximity and light sensors, and a gyroscope.
