Lenovo S850

Lenovo S850 is a mid-range smartphone by the Chinese company. The Android based device priced at Rs 15,499 is the latest edition to their S series.

The Lenovo S850 features a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen which has HD (1280 x 720 pixels) screen resolution which produces a pixel density of 294 PPI. It has a metallic frame running along the periphery of the device. The smartphone runs Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. The Lenovo S850 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera paired with autofocus and LED flash. The camera supports additional features like touch focus, face detection and high definition recording. The image quality in low-lighting situation is good thanks to the presence of LED flash. The device also has a 5-megapixel fixed focus front camera using which one can record quality videos and capture amazing selfies. Setting sights on the dimensions of the device, the smartphone is 8.2 mm thick and weighs 140 grams.

The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6582 processor with Mali-400MP2 GPU. The Lenovo S850 also supports dual-SIM functionality. In terms of memory, the smartphone has 1 GB RAM with an internal storage capacity of 16GB. The device does not house an external microSD card slot therefore, the storage capacity on the device is not subjected to extension. The device ships with three sensors which include light, proximity and gravitation.

The device comes pre-loaded with security software SECUREit, SHAREit that offers phone-to-phone data transfer without Wi-Fi or mobile network. Other apps include SNAPit which offers a powerful camera app with multiple shooting modes and SYNCit which lets you backup and restore your data. Moving over to the colour options, the Lenovo S850 is available in three colours: Pink, White and Dark Blue. Connectivity options include 3G, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0 port. The device also has an FM Radio. Supplying power to the smartphone is a non-removable Li-Po 2000 mAh battery which supports talk time up to 25 hours and ensures that your smartphone keeps functioning throughout the day.
