Micromax Bolt A069

Micromax added another affordable smartphone in its Bolt series with a support for different indian languages out-of-the-box. All those 21 languages and custom fonts come pre-loaded on the Bolt A069 and there is no need to download them separately, unless there are updates.

The Bolt A069 houses a dual-core 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6572 mobile chipset paired with mere 512MB of RAM. It offers just 4GB on-board storage out of which only 1.53GB is actually available to the user. This native hardware drives the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update easily.

The 5-inch display supports 854 480 pixel resolution natively and supports multitouch. One can capture average quality images with 5MP rear camera with fixed focus but with an LED flash and selfies using the front 0.3MP camera.

This dual-SIM phone supports only 2G network enabled SIM card in both the slots and offers Wi-Fi for faster web browsing experience. Bluetooth takes care of the file transfers and linking a headset while the GPS allows better location accuracy.

Micromax has pre-loaded several applications such as Kingsoft Office, Phonebook, games and other apps to hog the built-in storage. But you can always remove some of them to make more space. With 1,800 mAh battery, the phone can barely make beyond half a day but that should work for someone with limited requirements from a phone.
