Micromax Bolt Q335

The Micromax Bolt Q335 is a budget dual-SIM smartphone which comes with some very basic features. It comes with a 4.5-inch display, 5 MP rear camera and a 1.2GHz quad-core processor.

The device features a 4.5-inch LCD capacitive display having an FWVGA (854 480 pixels) resolution giving it a pixel density of 218 PPI. The device runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box. The smartphone comes preloaded with a host of apps to improve productivity such as Askme, Chaatz, Clean master, Hotstar, News Hunt, Paytm, Quickr, Snapdeal, Reverie, and Opera max Games.

Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum-SC7731 processor which is clocked at 1.2GHz. The processor is paired with 512MB of RAM to ensure seamless performance at all times. On the storage front, the device offers 4GB of inbuilt storage. Although this is low, the device comes with a microSD card slot which can be used to expand the memory of the device up to 32GB.

In the imaging section, the smartphone comes with a 5-megapixel shooter on the back. The rear camera also comes with an LED flash to help capture real life images. However the camera comes with a fixed focus lens and hence cannot be used very well in a wide array of situations. On the front of the phone sits a 2-megapixel shooter which can be used to take selfies or even make video calls.

The Micromax Bolt Q335 offers a wide variety of connectivity options such as 3G and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n for lightning fast connectivity at all times. In addition, it comes with Bluetooth 4.0 support and a microUSB slot. The device is powered by a 1650mAh battery which should keep it running for 280 hours on standby and 6 hours of talk time. The smartphone comes in only the black colour option.
