Micromax Canvas Knight 2

Micromax Canvas Knight 2 is a successor to the Micromax Canvas Knight A350 and comes with the distinction of being the first Micromax smartphone to feature 4G LTE connectivity. Sporting a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, the device is aimed at the mid-segment. The entire device comes encased in a very premium metal and glass build.

The smartphone sports a 5-inch AMOLED display having HD (1280 720 pixels) resolution. The display on the smartphone is a bit lacking as most devices at this price point usually feature a full HD display. The smartphone comes with Gorilla Glass 3 protection to ensure a clear and scratch free surface even through rigorous use.

On the connectivity front, the dual-SIM smartphone comes with 4G LTE connectivity on both the SIM slots. The dual nano-SIM slots comes with dual-active technology to keep both the SIM cards active at all times. A 2260 mAh battery powers the phone and can give it a continuous talk time of 7 hours and 45 minutes while being able to last for 335 hours on standby.

A 13-megapixel shooter sits at the back of the phone while a 5-megapixel camera is present at the front. The rear camera comes with a Sony IMX214 CMOS sensor and dual-LED flash.

Micromax Canvas Knight 2 runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and in addition also comes with a variety of preloaded apps to boost productivity such as Swiftkey and CleanMaster.

At the heart of the device sits a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor which is clocked at 1.5Ghz. The processor is kept in conjunction with 2GB of RAM. The duo ensure the device doesn t stutter at all even while running resource intensive applications such as the latest games. The device offers 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can further be expanded to 32GB via an external microSD card.
