Micromax Canvas Magnus A117 is the new addition to the company's premium line of phones. The phone sports a 5 inch HD display with a screen resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The device runs on Android Jellybean 4.2 Operating System and has Dual-SIM capability which would definitely be of help if you're a person carrying multiple SIM cards. Canvas Magnus is powered with a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and has 1GB of RAM which is decent enough if you're not a power user running tons of apps and high resolution games on your device.

It has a 13 MP rear snapper which is good enough as per the current benchmarks. The camera has auto-focus capability, has dual-flash LED for low light photography and supports full HD video recording too. On the front of the device, there's also a 5 MP secondary camera that's capable of full HD video recording. Front facing camera can be used for self photography and for making video calls. When it comes to multimedia features of the device, it is capable of playing the common multimedia formats including, but not limited to AAC, MP3, MP4, WAV, AVI, etc.

Micromax Canvas Magnus comes with connectivity options such as EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0 and Micro USB v2.0 connector for charging the device and transferring files to and from computer systems. The device also has a 3.5 MM audio jack for connecting any audio devices like speakers, earphones and headphones. As mentioned earlier, the device runs on Android Jellybean 4.2 operating system. The device also has dual-SIM capability which would come handy for people carrying multiple SIM cards.

It has a 2000 mAh battery which keeps the device up and running for almost an entire day with moderate usage. As far as the storage of the device is concerned, it has 1GB RAM and 4 GB of internal memory which could be further expandable to upto 32 GB using Micro SD card.
