Micromax Canvas Selfie 3

Micromax Canvas Selfie 3 is the latest in the line of Canvas Selfie phones and comes with some impressive hardware. The smartphone features a powerful 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and as the name suggests, a high quality full HD capable 8-megapixel selfie camera.

The device sports a compact form factor and has a 4.8-inch LCD touchscreen display. The single SIM device comes with a HD (1280x720 pixels) screen resolution and hence manages to maintain a pretty impressive pixel density. The display however does not come with any Corning Glass protection.

The device comes with 8 GB of on board memory which offers about 5 GB plus of usable storage space which should be ample to store a plethora of media. However, the storage could be increased further via an external microSD card thanks to the microSD card slot. Powering the device is a quad-core 1.3 GHz processor which is capable of producing impressive performance allowing for a very smooth user interface. The smartphone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. The smartphone also comes with 1 GB of RAM which is sufficient for pretty basic multi-tasking but might not be able to handle too many resource intensive applications simultaneously. Most devices in this price bracket sport 2 GB of RAM.

The smartphone comes with pretty impressive camera specs as it comes with an 8-megapixel selfie camera along with another 8-megapixel primary camera. The primary camera is also equipped with an LED flash and both the cameras can shoot and capture videos in full HD.

The device is 3G enabled only and does not come with 4G LTE support. However, it sports the usual array of connectivity options such as Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, microUSB 2.0 and Wi-Fi. Powering the smartphone is a 2,300 mAh battery which can keep it ticking all day long.
