The Micromax Vdeo 3 is an entry-level device that follows the Micromax Vdeo 1 and Vdeo 2.

The display on the Micromax Vdeo 3 features a 5.0-inch HD resolution IPS LCD that shows clear media for entertainment. The Vdeo 1 and Vdeo 2 phones sport 4.0-inch WVGA displays. The Vdeo 3 phone comes with champagne and white color exteriors with a brush metal finish back.

The phone comes with Marshmallow 6.0 that runs on a 1.5 GHz four-core processor and 1GB of RAM over the Vdeo 1 and Vdeo 2’s 1.3GHz quad-core processors and 1GB RAMs. Internal storage on the Vdeo 3 is at 8GB that can be increased to 32GB with a microSD card, as was the case in the Vdeo 1 and Vdeo 2 smartphones.

The phone supports Google Allo, Google’s messaging app that allows users to send text messages to Allo as well as non-Allo users. The app has some quirky features that users can make use of to animate messages. The app has Google Assistant built in and through machine learning, makes appropriate suggestions for user requests that improve the more the user uses Assistant.

The Vdeo 3 supports Google’s video calling feature with end-to-end encryption that relays video calls in HD resolution. The app goes beyond in-app invites, allowing users to place calls to phone numbers. The app is equipped to make video calls on slow internet connections also.

The phone features an 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera, both of which capture simple images. The rear camera records HD quality videos. The battery that runs the Vdeo 3 is 2,000mAh that lasts a day, while 1,600mAh and 1,800mAh batteries power the Vdeo 1 and Vdeo 2.

Users get 4G VoLTE support with the Vdeo 3 in addition to Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 support. The phone features a microUSB 2.0 port for charging. The phone also supports 3G mobile data. ?
