The Moto G5 is the successor to the last year's affordable G4. The smartphone sports somewhat the same looks to its predecessor. The precision-crafted metal unibody design makes it look and feel premium.
The Moto G5 flaunts a 5-inch Full HD display which can reproduce crisp and vivid images. To keep the screen protected and attracting any unwanted scratches, there is Corning's Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

For storing media files and apps the smartphone makes its mark with 16GB of onboard storage which can further be expanded using a microSD card up to 128GB.
For image lovers, the Moto G5 is equipped with a 13-megapixel primary shooter that is supported with an LED flash to help you capture images and shoot videos in the dark. On the front, the device is armed with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera that can take care of selfies and video calls via apps like Skype, Messenger, etc.

To enable smooth and flawless performance, the smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset. Also, to eke out lag-free multitasking, the Moto G5 comes with 3GB of RAM.
For connectivity, one can avail options like 4G, LTE with VoLTE, dual-SIM support, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and a microUSB 2.0 port.

On the software front, the smartphone runs the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box. It is fuelled by a 2,800 mAh battery which the company claims is good enough to last for an entire day for a moderate user.
