Oppo Reno 2

The OPPO Reno 2 has a design that s similar to its predecessor, the OPPO Reno. At the front, it has a 16MP sharkfin-style pop-up camera mechanism with a soft-light LED flash and 1080p video recording. At the rear, the phone features four camera sensors: 48MP primary sensor with F1.7 aperture, 13MP camera with 5x hybrid zoom lens, 8MP camera with an ultrawide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The rear-facing camera on the Reno 2 supports up to 20x digital zoom and up to 5x hybrid zoom. The rear-facing camera can also record 4K videos at 30fps, while the front-facing camera can record 1080p videos.

The 6.55-inch AMOLED screen that the OPPO Reno 2 uses has minimal bezels on all sides. It is a Full HD+ resolution (2340x1080 pixels) panel with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The screen also hides an optical fingerprint reader beneath, which is expected to be faster than the previous generation reader. The OPPO Reno 2 has a metal body with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and the rear.

The OPPO Reno 2 uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor, which is almost as good as the Snapdragon 855 chipset in terms of gaming performance. The phone also features 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS internal storage. There s a microSD card slot, too, for further storage space expansion. The OPPO Reno runs ColorOS 6.0.1 software UI, which is based on Google s Android 9 Pie operating system.

This higher mid-range smartphone is powered by a 4000mAh battery. Since it s a sealed design, the battery inside the OPPO Reno 2 is non-removable. It supports up to 20W VOOC 3.0 fast charging and the VOOC charger comes bundled with the phone. The Reno 2 also features various connectivity options, including dual-SIM card slot with dual-4G LTE and dual-VoLTE. A-GPS, BDS, GLONASS, dual-band Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Google Cast, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack are present on the Reno 2 as well.
