Pebble Smartwatch

Looks matter the most in whatever you wear. The Pebble comes with a glossy plastic face with a choice of five colours namely Orange, Red, Black, White and Gray. The smartwatch is not touchscreen and has four buttons that handle tasks quite well.

The smartwatch is powered by a STM Cortex M3 processor and has small amount of memory for downloading and retaining apps. The device also does not have a camera on board and has three-axis accelerometers, a magnetometer and an ambient light sensor. The Pebble is compatible with Android and iOS devices, when connected it can receive text messages, e-mails, incoming calls and notifications from social media. The Pebble is water proof to a certain extent. The battery life on the device is amazing and you can charge the device by connecting the included USB cable to your computer or wall charger from a smartphone.

The smartwatch has a 1.26-inch Black and White LCD e-paper display with (184 x 144 pixels) screen resolution. The Pebble smartwatch runs proprietary operating system which can be customised to free Real Time operating system (RTOS). The device is not very appealing while you have other better options in the form of Samsung and Sony.
