Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016)

The Samsung Galaxy J2 (2016) is an upgraded version of the previously launched Galaxy J2 but is identical to the Galaxy J3 (2016) in terms of specs. Just to add a bit of flavour, the J2 (2016) has a couple of tweaks. The smartphone is available in white, gold and black colour variants and sports a refreshing design at the back. 

The Galaxy J2 (2016) ensures users with the latest Android experience as the smartphone runs the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box. The device is unique in many ways, firstly the back panel features a new design where the logo is crafted, the camera module is surrounded by a notification panel which displays all the RGB colours which can be set according to your convenience. The device also comes with the S-bike mode that lets you ride without having to attend calls.  

You can capture brilliant shots and record Full HD videos using the 8-megapixel rear camera that is paired with an LED flash to aid in low light. The Quick Launch feature ensures that you never miss out on any beautiful moment. On the front, the Galaxy J2 (2016) comes with a 5-megapixel camera that can be used for capturing selfies and also video calling via apps like Skype, Messenger, etc. The smartphone flaunts a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display that has deep contrast and reproduces vivid colours that pave the way for an enriched visual experience. 

Although the Galaxy device is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Spreadtrum chipset, Samsung has integrated the chipset with Turbo Speed Technology (TST) that automatically kills apps at the background to ensure smooth sailing. The J2 (2016) is coupled with 1.5GB of RAM that takes care of multitasking and along with TST ensures a lag-free smartphone experience. You needn't worry about storage as the Galaxy J2 (2016) comes with 8GB of internal storage space which can further be expanded via a microSD card to accommodate apps and your personal data. 

The device packs a Li-Ion 2,600 mAh battery that is enough for a normal user to last throughout the day. In terms of connectivity, there are options like 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and a microUSB 2.0 port. Equipped with the Ultra Data Saving Mode, it saves your 4G data usage by restricting background applications from consuming unnecessary data.
