Samsung Galaxy Star Pro Duos

Samsung Galaxy Star Pro Duos S7262 is a budget smartphone from Samsung and is similar in specs to the Samsung Galaxy Star Pro with the additional dual-SIM capability.

The smartphone comes with a 4-inch TFT display having a WVGA (800 480 pixels) resolution. The small size of the display makes sure that the pixel density of the device is over 200 despite having such a low resolution. The multitouch capacitive touchscreen has a pixel density of 233PPI.

At the heart of the Samsung Galaxy Pro Duos S7262 lies a single-core processor which is clocked at 1GHz. The processor is paired with 512MB of RAM. The two deliver very basic performance and work great in allowing you to perform basic daily tasks on the device. However, do not expect the device to render any of the high end games or even fare well in intensive multi-tasking situations. Additional hardware on-board includes sensors such as 3-axis accelerometer, light and proximity sensors. In addition, the device comes with 4GB of internal storage which can further be expanded via an external microSD card up to 32GB.

In the imaging section, the smartphone sports a 2-megapixel primary camera with no front facing camera. The lack of a front camera is bound to disappoint all the selfie lovers. The rear camera comes with an LED flash and autofocus features to capture images. The rear camera can record videos in VGA resolution.

The form factor of the device is similar to the Galaxy Star and sports a similar plastic body with removable back. The device is available in white and black colour options. The device is a little on the thicker side at 10.6 mm and weights a hefty 121 grams.

The smartphone lacks 3G support and comes with EDGE, GPRS, microUSB 2.0 and Bluetooth 4.0. The smartphone is powered by a 1500mAh Li-Ion battery.
