It has 1.5 GB RAM and 8GB ROM, expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card. Connectivity options includes WLAN, infrared, Bluetooth, microUSB, etc. The Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is powered by a non-removable Li-Ion 4000 mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 Details

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 was announced back in mid 2014 and was released as a successor to Samsung's range of Galaxy Tab 3 series. This 7-inch tablet was made available to consumers in the form of several variants. This one was the Wi-Fi only version and did not come with a SIM card slot and for the same reason, did not have access to mobile data. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 also came in 8 and 16 GB internal memory versions.
As already evident from the naming scheme, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 boasts of a 7-inch display. The TFT capacitive display came with a resolution of 800*1200 pixels that gave it a PPI density of around 216. At the time of its release, the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 came preloaded with a highly customized version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The Android core was hidden under Samsung s own TouchWiz UI.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is powered by the Marvell PXA1088 chipset that houses a 1.2 GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor. There is 1.5 GB of RAM thrown in as well which made the device fairly zippy. Powering the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 is a 4000 mAH non-removable Li-Po battery that gives it day long battery life with normal usage.
The imaging capabilities of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 was limited by the fact that it only had a 3.15 megapixel main camera. For video calling, the 1.3 megapixel front camera was deemed good enough. The primary camera at the rear was also capable of capturing videos in 720p resolution.
Moving on to the connectivity front, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 came with support for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS, USB and GLONASS. It even had an infrared port.
