Vivo has come up with a new handset in the youth-oriented Y-series dubbed as the Vivo Y72 5G. The Y-series smartphones are known to flaunt unique and vibrant designs that reflect the style of millennials. The new Y72 5G is the first smartphone in the Y-series with 5G support. In terms of specifications, the new 5G-enabled handset sports a 6.4-inches IPS LCD offering a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The display is thin and bezel-less and features a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. The smartphone comes equipped with a triple camera configuration (48MP+8MP+2MP) on the rear and a single 32MP selfie camera at the front. The phone is powered by a 2 GHz octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 720 MT6853V SoC. The processor is coupled with 8GB of RAM. The phone includes a non-expandable internal storage capacity of 128GB. A fingerprint sensor is mounted on the side for security. For power backup, the handset comes loaded with a 4100mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. The Vivo Y72 5G comes with a waterdrop notch design with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone sports a 6.4-inches IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The aspect ratio of the display is 20:9 and has a pixel density of 274ppi.
