Apple iPhone 4 16GB

The Apple iPhone 4 is currently available for less than Rs. 10,000. This version of the iPhone 4 comes with 16GB of storage space. Other variants of the phone have 8GB and 32GB of storage.

The iPhone 4 features an IPS LCD display that displays colors well and provides legibility under direct sunlight, while the 3.5-inch display will suffice for playing games and watching videos. The phone has a resolution of 640x960 and 330 PPI of pixel density that enables the display to show adequately clear media. Apple is known to richly endow its smartphone’s displays with high pixel densities ahead of other smartphone makers. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and an oleophobic coating that repels fingerprints while the back of the phone is protected by scratch-resistant glass. The phone is 115.2 x 58.6 x 9.3 mm and weighs 137 grams. The iPhone 4 can be bought in black and white colors but back panels can be bought in pink, green, blue, orange colors.

The iPhone 4 runs iOS 4 that can be upgraded to iOS 7.1.1, on A4 chipset that bears a 1.0 GHz Cortex-A18 processor with 512MB of RAM that can handle simple mobile tasks but cannot be expected to handle demanding tasks. Graphics for games and videos is taken care of by a PowerVR SGX535 GPU that is energy efficient and is clocked at 800MHz. Storage space on this version of the iPhone 4 is limited to 16GB with no option to expand.

The iPhone 4 has a rear 5-megapixel camera that takes adequately clear images with enough light with its f/2.8 aperture. The camera also features LED flash, and video recording at 720p. The camera app features touch focus, geotagging and panorama mode. The front camera is VGA that takes simple images and requires ample light to take the best pictures. The front camera also records videos but at 480p. The phone is powered by a 1,420mAh Li-Po battery.

The single micro-SIM phone enables 3G mobile data, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 to pair with other Bluetooth enabled devices, GPS for navigation that is aided by A-GPS, and a  micro-USB 2.0 port to charge the phone.
