Apple iPhone 5C

The Apple iPhone 5C is the first mid-range smartphone from Apple. The device has a shiny yet tough polycarbonate plastic unibody. The iPhone 5C comes in a wide variety of colours. The phone has the same 4-inch Retina display that was introduced with Apple iPhone 5. It is an LED backlit IPS LCD capacitive touch screen panel with a resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels and a pixel density of 326 ppi. This smartphone is powered by a fast 1 GHz dual-core Apple A6 processor which comprises of ARM v7S based 'Swift' CPU cores and the PowerVR SGX543MP3 GPU. The phone has a Nano-SIM card slot that takes very less space under the hood, making it more spacious for other components. The phone runs on iOS 7 operating system that is bright, colourful, flat and simple to use.

The phone sports an impressive 8 Megapixel camera with LED flash. The phone has many filters, special effects and focusing features for a better photo capturing experience. The phone can record full HD videos at 30fps. The front-facing camera works decently for video calling and self-portraits. The phone is ideal to play games and read eBooks. iTunes lets you buy and download music, movies, TV shows, books, magazines and podcasts directly to the iPhone 5C. New software additions also include iTunes Radio which lets users listen to random songs from a particular music genre, artist or album. Apple has also decided to proved iPhoto, Pages, Numbers and Keynote apps for free to all the iPhone 5C users.

The iPhone 5C supports 4G LTE networks in India besides supporting 2G and 3G. The phone also has dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) for faster Internet connectivity. The phone has support for Bluetooth v4.0 that lets you connect to the compatible devices and transfer or stream music and content. iPhone 5C features Siri, a natural like voice assistance system on the phone that is slated to help you figure out things on the go.

It comes with a 1440 mAh Lithium-Polymer battery which is 70 mAh bigger than the one included in the Apple iPhone 5. The phone will come in 2 storage variants; 16 GB or 64 GB.
