The Nexus 7 2013 is a refresh model of nexus 7 launched in 2012. The tab is upgraded with many features under the hood. The device has a gorgeous 7-inch full HD LED-backlit display with the resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. The tab is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor accompanied by 2 GB of RAM, which is ideal for gaming. The tab has a plastic build but it looks stylish and is easy to carry around. The device does not have physical buttons on the front. The Nexus 7 2 has a power button and volume rockers on the right side of the body. The device runs on Google's stock Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) operating system.

The Nexus 7 2 sports a 5-Megapixel primary camera with no flash. The pictures and videos taken from the device in daytime will be quite decent but it may not be as good in low light situations. The tab also features a front-facing camera, which is of 1.2 MP that is good enough for video calls and close up shots. The device supports various audio and video formats such as H.263, H.264, DivX, XviD, MP4, WMV, MP3, eAAC+, WMA, WAV, and FLAC.

The Nexus 7 2 tab has all the regular connectivity features like GPRS, EDGE, 2G and 3G. The device has 4G (LTE) support too. The device has Wi-Fi connectivity as well so you can browse through Internet with the speed you need. The device also has Bluetooth v4.0 and microUSB v2.0 for data connectivity and transferring solutions. The device has a 3.5 mm audio jack for headphone connectivity. The tab can also be used as a Wi-Fi hotspot if you wish to share your mobile data with the people around. The device comes with Google's bundled apps such as YouTube, Gmail, Hangouts, Calendar, Picasa and many more.

The tab is powered by a 3950 mAh non-removable battery that gives a standby time of up to 300 hours. The tab also has 32 GB of internal storage capacity and it doesn't have a memory card slot.
