Asus has usually played it safe with a single variant approach with the ROG Phone series but this year the brand has gone for the kill with the most-premium version packing up to 18GB RAM and called the ROG Phone 5 Ultimate. This phone carries the same 6.78-inch AMOLED display that you have with the regular ROG Phone 5. The screen comes with Full HD+ resolution at 1080x2448 pixels. All in all, this gives you pixel density of 395 PPI. The wide notch on the ROG Phone 5 is rather odd but you will notice the front camera housed under it. The phone comes powered by latest octa-core Snapdragon 888 top-end processor. The Ultimate variant lives up to its name with a staggering 18GB RAM, one of the few phones to offer this much memory in the market right now. The internal storage gets bumped up to 512GB but you cannot expand the storage further. Besides that, you are looking at the same camera features that you get with the other variants. The triple rear camera comprises of 64MP sensor, 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 5MP macro sensor. While on the front, the phone gets 24MP selfie camera. ROG Phone 5 Ultimate continues to be a solid powerhouse with the built-in 6000mAh battery that gets 65W fast charging support via USB Type C. Other features on the phone are on-screen fingerprint sensor, headphone jack, and face unlock and reverse charging.
