Coolpad Note 3S

The Coolpad Note 3S succeeds the Coolpad Note 3 smartphone, bearing a number of similarities to the Note 3. The Note 3S is priced at under Rs. 10,000.

The Note 3S comes with a 5.5-inch HD resolution IPS LCD display that will display quality media. The display is protected by 2.5D curved glass as seen in the Note 3. The phone measures 154.5 x 77 x 8.6 mm and weighs 167 grams.

The Coolpad Note 3S runs 6.0 Marshmallow with CoolUI 6.0 on top, an upgrade from the 5.1 Lollipop OS seen in the Note 3, on a Snapdragon 415 MSM8929 chipset with a 1.3 GHz octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM that guarantees speed and efficiency. Internal storage on the device is limited to 16GB that can be increased with an SD card.

The phone bears a 13-megapixel primary camera that promises to captures quality images. The rear camera is aided by autofocus and LED flash. The secondary camera is 5-megapixels that takes simple pictures. The camera app features a number of modes to optimise available light, capture expansive sceneries and other features such as smile and face detection. The battery that powers the phone is 2,500mAh that will last about twenty hours.

The Note 3S supports dual SIM cards that support 4G LTE and 3G mobile data in addition to supporting Bluetooth 4.1, bearing a microUSB 2.0 port and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The phone also supports GPS that is aided by A-GPS.
