Gionee Elife S8

The Elife S8 is a sleek flagship by Gionee. It comes with a metal body that gives it a premium feel. It features a 5.5-inch screen with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) pressure-sensitive display. Standard Android capacitive keys for the navigation are present below the display. The power and volume buttons are placed on the right side of the panel. As its name suggests, it is a successor to the last year's Elife S7.

The imaging front is taken care by an impressive 16-megapixel autofocus rear camera with an LED flash that helps improve the low life photography performance. The 8-megapixel front snapper can be used for video calls as well as selfies. There is also 4K video recording facility that captures incredibly high-resolution videos.

The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with the proprietary Amigo UI on top of it. The highly customised Android skin comes with a lot of additional features and themes.
