Gionee F103 Pro

Gionee has expanded its Fashion and Lifestyle series of smartphones with the introduction of the F103 Pro. The device makes its way into the Indian smartphone market with decent specs and a slim body.

The Gionee F103 Pro runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with the Amigo UI 3.2 skin on top. The device is sleek with 8.5 mm thickness and sports a metal frame that evokes a premium look and feel. Like other Gionee smartphones, the F103 Pro sports rounded edges that make it easier to hold.

In terms of performance, the device ekes out seamless smartphone experience as it is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor. The chipset is coupled with 3GB RAM that can be used for multitasking without affecting the device performance. Navigating among multiple apps simultaneously is also lag-free. For storing apps and other files, there is 16GB of internal storage space which can further be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.

On top, the F103 Pro boasts a 5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass IPS LCD display that comes with a coating of Dragontrail glass that keeps the device scratch free. Connectivity options on the F103 Pro include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and a microUSB 2.0 port.

If you love shooting images and videos, the Gionee F103 Pro should fulfill your desires as there is a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera paired with an LED flash. On the front, the device sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera to aid selfies and video calls. The smartphone is fuelled by a Li-Po 2,400 mAh battery that might turn out to be a bit low but should be enough to last for a day with moderate use.
