Gionee M6

Gionee has expanded its M-series smartphone portfolio with the introduction of the M6. The successor to the M5 makes its mark with high-end specifications.

The Gionee M6 runs the proprietary Amigo 3.2 operating system based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. In terms of design, the device sports an aluminum unibody design coupled with 2.5D glass on top. Available in gold and latte gold colours, the M6 also has Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.

To enable smooth and lag-free performance, the device is powered by an octa-core Helio P10 chipset. The processor is paired with 4GB of RAM that takes care of your multitasking requirements. You can work on multiple apps simultaneously without worrying about any performance drop. For connectivity, there are options like 4G, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Infrared, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and a microUSB 2.0 port.

The Gionee M6 is equipped with sensors which monitor and control operations and power consumption. Measures such as app freezing and background cleaning through force shutdown of unnecessary apps are present to optimize the performance under the minimum power usage. The smartphone also has a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button at the front.

The Gionee M6 is designed for shutterbugs. Using the 13-megapixel rear camera that is paired with an LED flash one can expect to capture high-quality images and record Full HD videos. On the front, to aid video calling and selfies there is an 8-megapixel secondary camera. You can afford to store all that you want with the M6 as there is 64GB of onboard storage space that can further be expanded up to 128GB via the microSD card slot.

The smartphone is backed by a massive Li-Ion 5,000 mAh battery that carries enough juice to keep going for more than a day for a heavy user. On the front, there is a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD display that is combined with excellent viewing angles which reproduce bright and vibrant colours.
