Gionee M7 Power

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee announced the release of the Gionee M7 Power phablet, which is set to have all the bells and whistles of a flagship device and top of the line hardware along with a battery that will blow your mind, all at an affordable price. 

The Gionee M7 Power sports a massive 6-inch HD+ panel with an aspect ratio of 18:9 which is powered by an ARM Mali-G71 GPU and comes with FullView display. The device is nearly bezel-less, giving it a very high screen: body ratio. The primary camera is 13-megapixels with features such as Geo-tagging, HDR, autofocus and LED flash. It can also record 4k videos at a frame rate of 30 fps. The secondary camera is 8-megapixels which excels in low light conditions and is optimised for selfies. The overall multimedia experience offered by the Gionee M7 Power is stellar, allowing you to enjoy movies, music and gaming with stunning clarity. 

At the heart of the Gionee M7 Power lies an octa-core Snapdragon 435 processor clocked at 1.4GHz, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD expansion. It is powered by a massive 5,000mAh battery which should easily last two days even with the most intense use. The company has been known to release devices with enormous battery life, and the M7 Power continues that legacy. The device is expected to run Android Nougat 7.1.1 out of the box, which is further customised by Gionee's in house UI. 

The Gionee M7 Power is a single SIM device with support for 4G and VoLTE, which comes as a surprise, as most recent devices across all price points almost always are dual DIM. Other connectivity features include 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC and a microUSB 2.0 port for charging and data transfer. Other sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, pedometer, and proximity sensor.
