HTC 8S

HTC 8S is a mid range smartphone from HTC featuring the latest Windows Phone 8 Operating System. The phone sports a 4" S-LCD Capacitive touchscreen with pixel density of 233 ppi density. The phone runs Windows 8 phone OS and is powered by a 1 GHz dual core Krait processor with 512 MB RAM. The phone has fairly large dimensions of 120.5 x 63 x 10.3 mm but weighs only 113 grams.

The phone features a 5 MP camera with auto-focus, Flash LED, Geo-tagging, face detection and touch focus features. The primary camera can record HD videos at 30 frames per second. The phone is ideal for multimedia needs such as gaming and supports playback of audio files in formats such as MP3, WAV, WMA and eAAC+. The phone runs video files on MP4, WMV, H.264 and H.263 formats.

HTC 8S runs on quad band 2G and dual band 3G network. The phone connects to the internet via GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA and HUSPA 3G and WiFi networks. The phone has a micro USB 2.0 slot and Bluetooth v 2.1 capability to cater to connectivity needs of users.

HTC 8S has a standard 1700 mAh Li-Po battery that provides substantial talk time. The phone has 4 GB internal memory for the user's storage needs regarding movies, applications, games etc. The phone also has a micro SD card slot to expand the storage by up to 32 GB.
