HTC Desire 10 pro

The most significant change in the Desire series is the design philosophy of the devices. The HTC Desire 10 Pro & Desire 10 Lifestyle look almost like the HTC 10 with an all-metal body design, but there's where the similarities end, the device does not come with a metal body, it only looks like a metal body, but it uses matte finished plastic material. The clever and beautiful design will be a strong selling point for the HTC Desire 10 Pro.

The HTC Desire 10 Pro has a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera with a f/2.2 aperture and dual-LED flash. The camera has a laser assisted autofocusing system for a faster focus. The HTC Desire 10 Pro is the first Desire series device to feature the laser autofocus system as almost all the earlier 5.5-inch screen-size Desire devices had a 13-megapixel camera. The front-facing camera has a whopping 13-megapixel resolution with the same f/2.2 aperture, sadly, it has a fixed focus and no LED flash. Equipping a device with 13MP secondary camera and not providing it with a LED flash would be considered a wrong decision by some.

The HTC Desire 10 Pro uses MediaTek Helio P10 SoC and 3GB of RAM to provide smooth, seamless performance. The octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC is a quite an old chipset but its still a strong performer in terms of running heavy applications but it falls short on the gaming as the GPU residing inside the chipset is not powerful enough to smoothly run the heavy games. There is 32GB of onboard storage and a microSD card slot for expanding it further.

The HTC Desire 10 Pro comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. HTC has tweaked the OS with its SenseUI for a better look and feel. The HTC SenseUI also adds the HTC’s BoomSound Profile that amplifies the music to make it more alive to hear. The display on the device is a Full-HD unit with IPS technology and Gorilla Glass protection. HTC has chosen to use IPS panel instead of its Super LCD to save on the cost front.

The hardware is fuelled by a non-removable 3,000 mAh battery, and that can be quickly charged with fast charging technology. HTC has opted for a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner to facilitate the user with a simple and secure unlocking technique.
