HTC Desire X Details

The Desire X from HTC is an Android powered device that was released back in 2012. Targeted at the mid-range consumer, the Desire X is a compact handset that came with a 4-inch display. It weighs 114 grams and also has a dual SIM version. Let us now check out the specifications of the HTC Desire X in detail.
To start with, the 4-inch display on the Desire X has a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels that translates into a PPI density of around 223. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM 8225 chipset that houses a 1 Ghz dual core, Cortex A5 Snapdragon S4 processor that is clocked at 1 Ghz. As for the graphics, it is handled by an Adreno 203 GPU. The Desire X has 768 MB of RAM as well as 4GB of internal memory. Memory expansion is possible using microSD cards of up to 32GB capacity.
At the time of its launch the Desire X came loaded with HTC s own Sense UI 4+ atop an Android 4.0 (JellyBean) core.
Moving on to the camera, the HTC Desire X boasts of a 5 megapixel camera which is also capable of video recording in VGA resolution. The phone does not have a front camera. Apart from sporting an LED flash for low light images, the camera supports a host of other features that include autofocus and geotagging of images.
The Desire X also comes with Beats Audio as well as an FM radio receiver with support for RDS. Moving on to the connectivity features, the device supports Wi-Fi b/g/n, DLNA, Bluetooth and A-GPS.
Powering the hardware on the HTC Desire X is a 1650 mAh Li-ion battery that is capable of delivering up to 833 hours of standby time on 2g networks. On 3G networks, the phone claims a talk time of 10 hours. This figure doubles to 20 hours on 2g networks.
