HTC U11

The HTC U11 is another addition to the U series smartphones from HTC for the year 2017. HTC had earlier launched the U-Play and U-Ultra devices, but the HTC U11 is an entirely different device when compared to both the devices that had been launched earlier, as it packs a much powerful processing and camera hardware.

Like all the other flagship devices from top smartphone manufacturers, the HTC U11 also packs a QHD (2560x1440) display with SuperLCD 5 technology. The HTC U’s display is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5. The imaging department is where the HTC U11 shines. The HTC U11 packs a newly developed 12MP Sony IMX362 sensor that has recently been used in Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. The camera comes with a faster autofocus, and a dual-tone LED flash. The front-facing camera on the HTC U11 is equally surprising as well, with its 16MP resolution and great software enhancements in the camera UI.

The HTC U11 is armed with a 2.45GHz octa-core Snapdragon 835 chipset and it comes mated to 6GB of RAM to ensure a smooth and flawless smartphone experience while multitasking and gaming. The HTC U11 has a spacious 128GB of internal storage too which can be expanded up to 200GB via a microSD card.  The HTC U11 uses frame-embedded sensors to enable better gesture system in the HTC’s new Sense 9 UI that is based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. HTC’s Sense UI is regarded as one of the most beautiful looking user interfaces among all Android smartphones.

The HTC U11 doesn't support dual-SIM option. However, there are plenty of connectivity option like GPS with A-GPS, BDS, Bluetooth v4.2, dual-band Wi-FI ac/b/g/n, and a 3.5mm audio jack.  Power to the HTC U11 is fed by a non-removable 3,000 mAh Li-Ion battery that charges via a USB Type-C port with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
