Verdict

HTC U20 5G is the first smartphone from the brand after a long time. HTC has taken this opportunity to come back stronger than before. The HTC U20, unlike other mid-range smartphones from the brand in the past, has an up to date hardware. It comes with a powerful processor, good camera hardware at the front and rear, modern connectivity options, a large battery pack with fast charging, and fresh design. It is light on the pocket as well. It would be nitpicking to find flaws in the device. If you are looking for a 5G smartphone on budget, the HTC U20 5G should be top on your list.

HTC U20 sports a 6.8-inch full HD+ display with resolution of 1080x2400 pixels. It carries a screen to body ratio of 83 percent, 20:9 screen ratio and pixel density of 387 ppi. Like most HTC phones, the U20 gets a punch hole design on the front for the selfie camera and uses metal and glass unibody design for finishing. The cameras are placed vertically at the top left and it gets rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as well.

The phone features quad rear cameras which includes 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultrawide sensor, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensors. On the front you get a 32MP camera for selfies. You can shoot 4K and 1080p videos at 30FPS using the primary camera. The front camera is capable of shooting 1080p videos at 30FPS as well.
