The Huawei GX8 is a mid-range Android-based smartphone. Huawei released the GX8 which sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a pixel density of 401 PPI that comes with awesome viewing angles that lets you view the screen without much fuss even under bright light. The colours produced are vibrant and users are expected to enjoy the visual experience.

The smartphone features a full-metal body which along with the 7.5mm thickness reproduces a premium look. The handset is available in three colour variants: copper gold, gray, and silver.

On the photography front, there is a stunning 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash that is intended for low-light photography. The device is also capable of capturing Full HD videos. The company has also thrown in a 5-megapixel secondary shooter for selfies. You can also enjoy video calls between your friends and loved ones via Messenger, Skype, etc. using the front shooter.

The device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box with Emotion UI 3.1 on top. The Huawei GX8 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz which is designed for smooth sailing. The chipset is paired with 2GB RAM that paves the way for swift multitasking. The GX8 comes with 16GB of internal storage that can be used to store apps and media and if that doesn't sound enough there is scope for further expansion via a microSD card up to 128 GB.

The smartphone packs in a 3,000 mAh Li-Po non-removable battery that can keep the phone up and running throughout the day with moderate to heavy usage. The phone also sports a fingerprint sensor that can be used to unlock the phone without entering the password. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and a microUSB 2.0 port. The device looks all classy and premium but the only issue is that it is overpriced considering the mid-range specifications.
