Huawei Honor 5X

The Chinese manufacturer Huawei has managed to roll out the successor of the previously launched Honor 4X in the shape of Honor 5X. The device is an upgrade from its predecessor in all aspects and ships with top-notch hardware.

The smartphone sports a metal unibody design, unlike the Honor 4X's polycarbonate body. This adds a more premium look although it might be bit slippery. The Honor 5X flaunts a giant 5.5-inch Full HD display that is crisp and clear and reproduces bright colours even in the most demanding situations. The Huawei Honor 5X runs Emotion 3.1 UI wrapped under Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.

Setting eyes on connectivity, there are LTE bands that support blazing fast connectivity along with other regular options that are common. Other options include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS that provide real-time navigation and a microUSB 2.0 port. Also, there are dual-SIM slots that can be used to fit two SIM cards simultaneously.

Users can indulge themselves in capturing great quality images using the 13-megapixel rear camera which is paired with a dual-tone dual-LED flash. Selfie lovers can enjoy video calling via Skype and Messenger via the 5-megapixel secondary shooter.

To ensure flawless and unparalleled performance, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset. To allow users hooked into multitasking, there is 2GB RAM that ensures smooth sailing. Users can store apps and other data using the 16GB of internal storage and if that does not sound much there is an expansion slot that can expand the storage up to a whopping 128GB via a microSD card.

Also, the device bears a fingerprint sensor, which ensures that your personal files remain safe. You can record up to three fingerprints to unlock the device. Fuelled by a non-removable Lithium Polymer 3,000 mAh cell the device is expected to last more than a day with moderate to heavy usage.
