Introduction
The Huawei P Smart (2019) is a mid-range smartphone, and it comes as the successor to the P Smart that was launched in 2017. The P Smart (2019) brings many improvements over its predecessor. Most significant changes, however, are the bezel-less design and the new Kirin 710 SoC.
6.4-Inch Bezel-Less Display and Dual-Camera at the Rear
The Huawei P Smart (2019) features a 6.4-inch display. The display uses IPS LCD technology and has a Full HD+ resolution. The display size is larger than most other smartphones out there. As you might expect from any 2019 smartphone, the P Smart (2019) has a bezel-less display with a notch in it. Coming to the cameras, the smartphone has a 16MP + 2MP dual-camera setup at the rear and a 25MP camera at the front. Thanks to the dual-camera setup, the P Smart (2019) can take images with bokeh effect with its rear camera.

The Huawei P Smart (2019) comes in two configurations. The first one has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, while the other one has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The smartphone runs on the latest version of Android, the 9 Pie. Huawei has customized the OS with its EMUI 9.0 user interface. The EMUI 9.0 user interface brings with it a different design and many additional features than the stock Android does not offer.
3230mAh Battery Doesn t Sound All That Great
Smartphones are getting better with each passing day, and a part of that improvement is the battery backup. Manufacturers are offering smartphones with a larger battery to provide a longer battery backup. However, it looks like Huawei doesn t want to give what customers want. The Huawei P Smart (2019) is an example of that. The smartphone has a 3230mAh battery, which we think is quite inadequate for a device that sports a 6.4-inch display. Most other smartphones in the same price range have battery capacities ranging from 4000mAh to 5000mAh. If the small battery wasn t bad enough, the smartphone doesn t even offer fast charging.
