Intex Aqua Pride

The Intex Aqua Pride is one of the most affordable smartphone devices in the Indian market. In spite of being an affordable device, the Intex Aqua Pride doesn't look like one. The device has a soft-touch removable back panel; it comes with a glossy finish around the edge of the device. On the front, the device has three navigational keys on the bottom and a LED flash beside the earpiece. The weight of the device is on the heavier side at 150g, and it is available in grey, white, and champagne colour variants.

Intex has cut the manufacturing cost of the device by equipping it with a TFT display instead of on an IPS one. The TN panel does not provide as good viewing angles as the IPS panel does. Also, the resolution of the display is 854x480; the resolution is very low, but it is acceptable as there is no other device in the same price range that provides a better resolution. The cameras on the Intex Aqua Pride include a 5-megapixel rear-facing unit and a 2-megapixel front-facing unit. Both the cameras have fixed focus, which means that if the objects are too near or too far from the camera, then the camera can’t focus on those objects. Hence, you'll get a blurry picture. Although, Intex has provided a front-facing LED flash to aid in the low-light environment.

On the software side, the Intex Aqua Pride comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. As this is a budget device, there is no guarantee that the device will receive any further Android updates.  The Intex Aqua Pride is powered by a MediaTek MT6580 chipset that has a quad-core Cortex-A7 processor. As the Intex Aqua Pride is a very power-efficient device, it has been fuelled by a 2,800 mAh removable Li-Po battery. Other features include Emergency Rescue and Smart Awake. The Intex Aqua Pride is not a 4G enabled device. Although, it supports dual-SIM 3G, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio, and GPS.
