Intex Aqua Super

The Intex Aqua Super is an entry-level smartphone priced below Rs. 10,000 with a 1GHz quad-core processor but 3GB of RAM, and 4G support.

Intex Aqua Super features an IPS LCD display capable of showing bright colors with contrast. Users can view media in HD quality and the display’s 320 PPI pixel density. The 5.0-inch screen is well suited for gaming and is aided by the chipset’s GPU that handles graphics. The phone measures a slim 144 x 75.2 x 7.65 mm and weighs a light 130 grams. It has a brush metal finish back available in black, grey, champagne, and white colors.

The Aqua Super runs 5.1 Lollipop on a quad-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53 processor on a MediaTek 67335P chipset with 3GB of RAM that handles tasks with ease. The chipset also holds a Mali-T720 GPU that enables improved graphics for games in comparison with its predecessors while being more energy efficient. The RAM is 3GB DDR3 that multitasks with ease. Storage space on the phone is 16GB of which 11GB is available to the user for storing personal data  while about 5GB is taken up by pertinent data. 16GB of storage space can be expanded to an appreciable 128GB with a memory card. The phone comes with 50GB of Microsoft OneDrive storage space.

The rear camera is 8-megapixels with LED flash, autofocus, face detection, panorama mode, motion tracker mode and others to improve camera performance and image quality. The rear camera takes adequately clear images. The front camera is 2-megapixels capable of capturing  simple images. The phone runs on a 2,150mAh battery that lasts less than ten hours before it needs to be charged.

The dual micro-SIM phone supports 4G and 3G mobile data, Bluetooth 4.0 for syncing with other Bluetooth-enabled devices, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS for navigation that is aided by A-GPS. A-GPS helps lock locations when GPS fails to do so or is delayed. The phone has a 5-pin microUSB port for charging and data transfer. Sensors on the phone include a gyroscope, light and proximity sensors. The phone comes with preloaded apps such as OLX, Skype, Opera Mini, Saavn and Clean Master.
