Intex Aqua Trend is a mid-range smartphone and has the distinction of being the second 4G enabled smartphone to be launched from the stables of the Indian manufacturer. The smartphone comes with a host of other attractive features, all of which make it a strong contender in the mid-range market.

The smartphone features a 5-inch capacitive LCD touchscreen display. The display comes with HD (1280x720 pixels) IPS screen. The display is similar to most devices in this segment and has an impressive pixel density of 294 PPI.

The smartphone ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and houses a powerful MediaTek-MT6735 quad-core processor. The processor has a clock speed of 1.3 GHz and comes with 2 GB of on-board RAM. Performance of the device is on par or even better than most devices in the price range. The device offers plenty of room to keep all the media content on the device thanks to the 16 GB of inbuilt storage. In addition to the internal storage, the device also offers a microSD card slot which can be used to expand the storage on the device up to 32 GB.

The dual-SIM smartphone is 4G LTE enabled and measures a slim 8.9 mm. The device is powered by a non-removable 3,000 mAh Li-Po battery and has support for Wi-Fi, a microUSB 2.0 port, Bluetooth, GPS and A-GPS. In addition, the device also comes with an NFC like technology called HotKnot file transfer technology.

The device comes with a complementary flip cover and has a 5-megapixel front shooter along with a 13-megapixel primary camera. The primary camera also comes with LED flash making sure that the device can capture the right moments even when the lighting conditions aren t optimal. The device is available in black, grey, silver and champagne colour options.
