Intex Aqua X15

Keeping in mind the Indian smartphone market, Intex introduced another low-end device to their existing catalogue. The Intex Aqua X15 comes with modest specifications which includes a 2 MP rear camera, dual-SIM support and expandable memory.

There is a 3.5-inch IPS LCD display on the front which lets you read messages and enjoy low-end games. The screen offers fair readability but you have to struggle once you are out in the sun. Inside, there is a 1GHz RDA8810 chipset which makes sure that things run smoothly. But to be fair one must not expect to much out of it.

256MB of RAM might not sound much but considering the price tag you should not expect more. Apps run smoothly but the device does not support multitasking. So, working on two or more apps at the same time is not recommended. There is 512MB of internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD card to install apps, store images and other personal information.

Intex has clubbed a 2-megapixel camera at the back using which users can click images and record videos. It also has a VGA front facing camera. It is available in silver, black and white colour variants.

The connectivity suite includes 2G, Bluetooth to connect and receive files from other devices, WI-Fi 802.11 b/g/n to connect to the internet wirelessly and a microUSB 2.0 port. Also users can use two SIM cards at the same time as the device has dual-SIM support. It is backed by a Li-Ion 1400 mAh battery.
